Blue mountains is about two hours drive from Sydney. The water vapor makes the place looks BLUE so that’s why they call it Blue mountains. Scenic World is our first destination and it had a really long queue in the ticket reception when we arrived. As the staff recommended us, we first took the cable way and saw the spectacular view of Blue Mountains. Then we walked around the forest and take the railway back to the top. The railway was quite scary for me!! It was really steep!!!
The Three Sisters rock is very clear from here. After the scary railway, we took the skyway to see the view. We can see the fall and the beautiful scenery from the cable car.
Since we drove the car here, we decided to go visit a famous village “Leura” and then come back to see the sunset in Echo Point. On our way to Leura, we stopped in a beautiful restaurant called Solitary to have a cup of Latte and some sandwiches.
The main street in Leura is really nice for shopping. There are a lot of cute stores.
We had dinner at “Pins on Lurline” and finally tried the Kangaroo meat!!! It tasted just like beef.. it was not bad!
Finally at around 8pm, we headed to Echo Point for the sunset. The weather was great and here is Ah Pie again!!!
We stayed at Kurrara Historic Guest House for two nights. It’s a building for more than 100 years old and there are a lot of ancient decorations everywhere in the house. I love every room and the owner really spend a lot of effort to maintain the house. I was really amazed to see an old building like this actually equipped with everything we need. All equipments are functioning really well! They provide several public areas for the guests and all of them are really cozy and comfortable!
This was almost the end of our Sydney trip and hopefully we can be back soon!!!
