從伯斯開車到瑪格麗特河大約是三個半小時的車程, 我們在伯斯市中心的 Hertz 租了一輛車, 動作超慢的Hertz一如往常的浪費了我們將近一小時的時間才完成租車手續. 這次我們有租借GPS, 所以我不用像上次一樣眼睛緊盯著手機看路. 因為我們是晚上開車, 路上又一直出現小心袋鼠的標誌, 當時真的超怕會有袋鼠衝出來. 根據當地人的提醒, 如果不幸看到袋鼠在路中央, 請務必握緊方向盤就直線撞下去!!!!! 千萬不要轉換車道, 之後可以的話再把袋鼠屍體拖離路中央… 果然我第二天就在路邊看到一隻超大的袋鼠屍體..
任何來到瑪格麗特河的旅客都是為了品酒和買酒, 所以來到這邊許多人會選擇參加一日團. 我們選擇了在Trip Advisor 評價很好的Margaret River Tours 一日團, 從早上10點到下午5點. 雖然價錢不便宜, 但是我們覺得很值得, 除了導遊Andrew非常幽默盡責, 他認真介紹酒莊和分享葡萄酒知識都讓我們學到很多, 可惜許多專有名詞聽不懂.. ;p
Margaret River Tours
Last time we were in Hunter Valley, this time we visited Margaret river to experience different winery! The drive from Perth to Margaret river is around 3.5 hours.. and in the evening, it was dark and boring.. we were so scared to bump into kangaroos but luckily none of them were on the road 🙂 Locals told us that if this happens, you must drive straight over it otherwise it will be dangerous to you and other drivers.. but we still couldn’t imagine what we will react if it ever happens…
We joined a famous local day tour called “Margaret River Tours” because we don’t want to get drunk and drive. There were 8 of us, just the right number for a good trip, and we were lucky to have Andrew with us. He is really passionate, nice, fun and professional.
今天我們這團有8個人, 兩對澳洲人和一對英國人. 其中一對澳洲夫妻說他們每年都來這裡補貨, 所以在每個酒莊他們都會買酒. 而我們則是因為新加坡的酒精管制沒辦法大買特買!!
1st Stop: Stella Bella 
從上面的照片就可以看出Stella Bella是一間小酒莊, 我們特別喜歡它的酒標和小巧可愛的店. 這個地區有名的白酒是Chardonnay, 紅酒則是Cabernet Sauvignon. 我們試了三白三紅, 但因為這是第一站, 還無從比較, 所以沒有買酒, 但是到了最後才發現這家的白酒我們最喜歡, 所以第二天還特地開車回來這家買了一瓶2012 Chardonnay 白酒.
Our first winery is a small one called Stella Bella. We extremely like its brand logo. The famous grapes in this region are Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. We tried 3 white and 3 red, and since it was the first stop, we decided not to buy any bottle yet. Eventually we found that Stella Bella is our favorite so we actually came back the next day to pick up a Chardonnay.

2nd Stop: Leeuwin Estate
Leeuwin 是一間有名又美麗的酒莊, 外面有很大的草地. 我們一樣試了很多白紅酒, 可是這家有名的酒莊反而沒發現我們喜歡的酒, 最後竟然在這裡買了一個可愛的小型醒酒器!
Leeuwin is a big, famous and beautiful winery. They also have nice dining environment! They introduced the Art series to us which they invited an artist to design the labels for them. We again tried several white and red but nothing we really like.

3rd Stop: WATERSHED PREMIUM WINES
非常喜歡Watershed的建築, 裡面的員工也非常友善, 我們試了超過十種酒, 發現了三瓶喜歡的酒, 所以買了紅白甜酒各1. 特別的是第一次聽到Zinfandel這種葡萄類型, 也試喝了, 結果每個人都不愛.. 哈哈滿期特的味道! 原本的行程是要去有名的Voyager Estate 參觀和吃飯, 但剛好最近關閉整修, 所以我們就在這裡吃, 食物也是很棒, 旁邊有一整片葡萄園可以欣賞, 和同團的朋友聊天滿開心的!
I love this building made of stones! It was one of our favorites throughout the day, and we actually bought 1 red 1 white and 1 desert wine!! We tried more than 10 wines here and we are extremely amazed by 1 special type of grapes: Zinfandel. It tastes really special and different and seems none of us in the group like it… hahaha
We were supposed to have lunch at Voyager Estate but it was closed for maintenance, so we had lunch here. It was very delicious and we can see the whole vineyard outside of the window. It was also a nice chat with the people in the group.

5th Stop: McHENRY HOHNEN
這家是我們最喜歡的酒莊, 不僅酒好喝, 酒標美麗, 還販售一些辣羊肉/牛肉/豬肉香腸, 超級無敵好吃!!! 我們立刻買了一瓶酒和一個羊肉香腸! 每個人都對香腸讚不絕口! 我們的導遊Andrew跟酒莊都很熟, 一來這裡就馬上自己跑去廚房準備香腸給我們吃, 真是倍感親切又溫馨! (我弄丟試酒單了啦!!! )
This is our favorite winery, not only they have great wines, beautiful labels, and also super yummy sausages!!!! We immediately bought 1 wine and 1 sausage!! Everyone was amazed by the food 🙂 p.s. I lost my tasting list!!!!

6th Stop: VASSE FELIX
這又是另一家美麗的酒莊, 也是唯一一家讓我們坐著品酒的地方. 我們試了3白3紅1甜點酒, 還滿不錯的, 最後選了Dry Red.
This is another beautiful winery. We had 3 white, 3 red and 1 dessert wine. We eventually bought 1 Classic Dry Red.

最後的兩站是起司店和巧克力店, 兩家都非常棒! 我們買了3種起司還有一些巧克力, 真的都非常好吃喔!!! (上圖是導遊Andrew)
Andrew took us to a cheese place where all the cheese there are fantastic!!! We bought 3 package back and really enjoyed eating them at home. Our very last destination is the Chocolate Co. where they have tons of chocolate to try and buy. The classic ones are indeed very nice and we love it!
這是一個非常開心的一天！ (可能也跟攝取酒精有關XD) 導遊Andrew 真的是個很棒的人, 細心的照顧每個人, 認真的專業解說, 因為有跟他的團, 感覺都有受到酒莊老闆的特別招呼, 下午在車上還準備點心讓我們享用. 最好笑的是他說他是氣象達人, 因為當天一直下陣雨, 但是他卻讓我們只要下雨的時候要不是在室內要不是在車上, 真是超強的!!! 哈哈哈!! 如果想參加團體的人很推薦參加他的團喔! 如果想要自行開車的話, 那可能就沒辦法自在的試酒了唷～～
It was a happy day with the tour. (Perhaps partially because of the alcohol.. :D) The guide Andrew is a wonderful person, he is considerate, professional and also nice. he also prepared some dessert in the afternoon for us. We really enjoyed the day with him and the wineries we visited, I do recommend this tour if you want to join one. It’s good and relax in the sense that we don’t need to find the way to each winery. The only thing we need to do is just follow and enjoy!!!
The Next Day: Laurance Wines
第二天回家前我們前往最後一個酒莊參觀順便吃午餐, 這是一個很漂亮的建築, 還有戶外的婚禮場地, 我們並沒有特別喜歡它們的酒, 況且行李也塞不下了.. 但是卻買了那邊一個設計師寄放的美麗玻璃大象裝飾品!! 午餐滿好吃的, 廁所非常華麗!!!
The next day before we headed back to the airport, we visited Laurance Wines for lunch. It was a beautiful building and has nice food. We are not that into their wines but we did bring back a very cute glass art piece!! I saw they also sell empty bottles, so I am guessing a lot of people must love their bottles.
飯後因為想喝拿鐵, 酒莊員工推薦了對面的啤酒場有賣咖啡, 我們就繞過來, 也是一個很漂亮的環境, 也滿多人在這裡吃飯.
After lunch, we desperated need a coffee, so the staff recommended us to go to this beer brewery for a coffee. It was again another lovely place to have lunch! 
Margaret River has more than hundreds of winery, and I really enjoyed the ones we have visited. Most places are beautiful with good food, and nice wine. Most importantly, we did bring back the wines we like!
瑪格利特河有超過一百間酒莊, 每一間都有自己的特色, 我們發現我們比較喜歡小一點, 家人經營的那種酒莊. 這邊的環境優美, 大部份的酒莊也有好吃的食物, 美麗的環境, 友善的員工. 最重要的是, 我們都買到自己喜歡的酒啦!!!!
